It's Wright for Fort Worth

Were it not for Fort Worth having to use the Wright amendment to drag Dallas kicking and screaming into 20th-century aviation, all commercial airlines would be flying out of a dinky, antiquated Love Field, scaring the neighborhood cats every 20 seconds.

The restraint-of-trade crowd yells that Southwest Airlines should be able to compete freely. I agree. Why doesn't it? It doesn't in Chicago, Miami, Houston or here in North Texas. Come fly at the big airports in these fine cities and compete as much as you like.

Will Fort Worth again need a Wright amendment to keep Dallas part of aviation growth into the 21st century?
